The “Hi” Mark of Approval

We believe that organisations that prioritise human wellbeing, fairness, and personal development deserve to be recognised for their commitment.

The “Hi” Mark of Approval enables potential employees, partners, and consumers to make informed, conscientious choices about the organisations they engage with. Your company may already have what it takes.

Key information about the HI assessment

  • Assessment timeline – Results are issued within 6 months of the application date. Your organisation is not under continual assessment during this period, and our process is designed to be minimally disruptive.
  • No cost or obligation – The assessment is free of charge. Donations are welcome and help support our work, but they are entirely optional and do not influence the outcome in any way.
  • Reapplication and improvement – If an organisation does not meet the Hi Approval standard, it may reapply after 6 months. We provide clear, constructive feedback outlining areas for improvement. If you don’t pass the assessment the result is kept entirely confidential.
  • Upon receiving approval companies and organisations are entitled to display the Hi mark of approval on any documentation, marketing, products or premises alongside the year the approval was awarded. A soft copy of the graphic you can display will be provided.
  • The detailed assessment framework will be available to view here soon….View the detailed HI Assessment Framework.
